Responsibilities
~5 min readAdmissions Advisors are members of the Chippewa Valley Technical College (CVTC) Strategic Communication & Community Engagement team. They serve as strategic enrollment professionals responsible for developing recruitment pipelines, cultivating key stakeholder relationships, and implementing data-informed enrollment strategies that directly support CVTC's enrollment. They serve as the primary relationship owner for prospective students and provide guidance and personalized engagement through critical decision points along the student journey. Through analysis of enrollment trends, market conditions, and recruitment outcomes, Admissions Advisors recommend and execute strategies that enhance enrollment performance, strengthen community partnerships, and advance institutional goals.
Responsibilities:
- →Develop, strengthen, and sustain strategic partnerships with K-12 districts and community organizations to expand enrollment pipelines and advance institutional priorities.
- →Analyze enrollment trends and market conditions to identify opportunities and assist in the development of recruitment plans and strategies that support institutional enrollment.
- →Implement and refine territory management and recruitment strategies utilizing enrollment data, prospect behavior, and market data to optimize recruitment effectiveness and conversion outcomes.
- →Evaluate recruitment performance metrics and enrollment funnel data and make recommendations to improve enrollment outcomes.
- →Cultivate and maintain relationships with prospective students, families, and key influencers through personalized engagement plans designed to increase student interest, application completion, enrollment yield, and long-term student success.
- →Serve as the primary point of contact for prospective students throughout critical phases of the student journey, ensuring personalized engagement, informed decision-making, and successful advancement through the enrollment funnel until transition to academic advising for first-term registration.
- →Collaborate on initiatives and cross-functional projects to align activities with strategic enrollment priorities, operational goals, and institutional objectives.
- →Develop and maintain a comprehensive knowledge base on CVTC’s 120+ academic programs, certificates, apprenticeships, admissions and financial aid processes, paying-for-college options, and available student support resources.
- →Partner with K-12 stakeholders, school personnel, and internal college partners to expand student access to dual credit opportunities through outreach, education, and enrollment support, including transcripted credit registration and academy application completion, fostering early college engagement and post-secondary success.
- →Coach students through the career and college exploration process by helping them assess interests, clarify goals, understand workforce opportunities, and develop confidence in selecting and pursuing educational pathways aligned with their aspirations.
- →Provide personalized guidance to high school students exploring career pathways, connecting them with dual credit opportunities that align with their interests, support achievement of career goals, and accelerate progress toward post-secondary education and workforce success.
- →Work with prospective students, in collaboration with appropriate teams, to support completion of prerequisite requirements and academic preparation needed to ensure a strong start at CVTC and continued success in their selected program.
- →Represent CVTC at community events, K12 activities, and employer engagements to strengthen brand awareness and educational partnerships.
- →Represent and speak on behalf of CVTC with local media outlets to promote events and the CVTC brand in coordination with the CVTC communications team.
- →Develop and deliver engaging and dynamic in-person and virtual presentations for K12 audiences (administrators, teachers, staff, students, parents) across CVTC’s 45+ partner high schools.
- →Partner with faculty, academic deans, and industry partners to coordinate career and technical education showcases in high schools across CVTC’s 11‑county district.
- →Serve as the first point of contact for prospective students, families, and the public across multiple communication channels (in-person, phone, email, SMS, social media, and web chat).
- →Assist Events & Engagement team members with planning and executing approved recruitment and community engagement events (700+ attendees) for prospective students and community partners.
- →Manage and maintain accurate prospective student information (inquiries, presentations, follow‑up, application tracking) within CRM, ERP, OneDrive, and SharePoint systems.
- →Evaluate real-time situations and make independent decisions with minimal direction.

- →Ability to travel (i.e., access to reliable transportation) to various campuses, schools, and other sites in CVTC's 11-county district as needed to fulfill the responsibilities of this position.
Requirements
~2 min read- Associate’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field with a minimum of six years of experience in a recruitment, sales, or related position required: OR a bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field with a minimum of two years of experience in a recruitment, sales or related position preferred.
