Embark Behavioral Health in Bend, Oregon is hiring compassionate, purpose-driven Behavioral Health Technician's to join our team. In this essential role, you’ll support preteens ages 10–17 in a safe, structured, and trauma-informed environment, helping them grow through experiential learning, animal-assisted activities, academic support, and emotional skill-building.

Responsibilities

→Ensure client safety and emotional well-being through active supervision and documentation
→Maintain structure and boundaries to foster a supportive environment
→Respond to crises using de-escalation techniques and trauma-informed care
→Assist with academic tasks and daily routines
→Participate in recreational and therapeutic activities (arts, crafts, sports, nature walks)
→Support residential upkeep, animal care, and occasional meal service

Requirements

Age: 21+ years of age or older
Education: High school diploma or equivalent G.E.D required. Associates or bachelor's in human services, psychology, criminal justice or minimum of 2 years' experience working in Human Services, preferred.
Skills: Quick decision-making skills and a growth mindset with a focus on Embarks core values.
Experience: Min of 1 year of experience working with adolescent populations is preferred
Driver's License: Must possess and maintain a valid Oregon Driver’s License with a clean driving record and meet company insurability requirements.
Certifications: CPR and First Aid certification preferred, will provide training
Background Checks: Must pass pre-employment drug screen and federal and state background check in concordance with Oregon state laws.
