We are looking for an experienced Sheet Metal Construction Foreman to lead field crews on commercial and industrial construction projects. This position is responsible for supervising employees, coordinating jobsite activities, maintaining quality standards, and ensuring work is completed safely, on time, and within budget.
Responsibilities
~1 min read- →Supervise and lead sheet metal mechanics, apprentices, and field personnel on job sites.
- →Coordinate daily work activities, manpower, materials, and equipment.
- →Review project drawings, specifications, and schedules.
- →Oversee HVAC ductwork and sheet metal installations.
- →Ensure work meets company quality standards, project requirements, and building codes.
- →Coordinate with Project Managers, Superintendents, subcontractors, and other trades.
- →Enforce company safety policies and OSHA regulations.
- →Conduct safety meetings and jobsite inspections.
- →Complete daily reports, track labor hours, and maintain project documentation.
- →Manage project tools, equipment, and material deliveries.
- 5+ years of sheet metal construction foreman experience.
- Sheet Metal Apprenticeship completion.
- Strong knowledge of commercial HVAC ductwork installation.
- Ability to read blueprints, shop drawings, and specifications.
- Knowledge of OSHA regulations and construction safety practices.
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office.
Requirements
~1 min read- Ability to stand, walk, climb, bend, and work on active construction sites.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to work in varying weather and field conditions.
