Senior Security Engineer (R&D and Secure Systems Engineering)

You will turn architecture, requirements, and risk findings into implemented, validated security controls, and mentor engineers along the way.

• →Lead security engineering activities for complex systems, platforms, and R&D project components
• →Translate security architecture, requirements, and threat models into implementable technical controls
• →Design and implement security mechanisms across networks, operating systems, applications, and cloud environments
• →Perform threat modelling, security risk analysis, hardening, and penetration testing
• →Review system designs and configurations from a security perspective
• →Lead resolution of complex security findings and support root-cause analysis
• →Provide technical guidance and mentoring to engineers
• →Author and co-author technical security content for R&D deliverables and reports

• Secure systems engineering and secure-by-design practices
• Threat modelling and risk-based security engineering
• Security testing, penetration testing, and validation methodologies
• DevSecOps and evidence-based security assurance

• Implemented and validated security controls and configurations
• Threat models, assessments, and validation reports
• Technical security designs and hardening documentationSecurity architectures and R&D deliverable sections

• Extensive hands-on experience in cyber security or secure systems engineering
• Strong knowledge of network, infrastructure, operating-system, application, and data security
• Experience designing and implementing security controls in complex or distributed systems
• Practical experience with security testing, vulnerability management, and hardening
• Understanding of cloud, virtualisation, containers, DevSecOps, PKI, and cryptography
• Experience leading technical security workstreams or mentoring engineers
• CISSP, OSCP, GIAC, or cloud security certifications are a plus
• Willingness to complete a government security clearance process

€4600-6500 gross/monthly (full-time).Final compensation will depend on factors such as relevant experience, role seniority, and skill set.
