Sitter/Winder Operator - Tri-Shield

Responsibilities

• →Understand all functions of spiral winder machine, including set-up and media change over, to operate and produce quality spiral wound filter tubes as required for production
• →Identify specific tube recipes per work order requirements, and enter appropriate settings into spiral winder as required per the product recipe
• →Ensure that the quality, dimensions, and cut length of tubes produced by spiral winder is within specified tolerances
• →Change-over media rolls as required to maintain raw media supply on roll stands for continuous production
• →Record raw media usage per production order and make allocations using MC
• →Communicate with material handling personnel and platform manager as needed
• →Daily cleaning of machine and immediate work area

• Ability to read and follow instruction provided on work orders
• Ability to use tools and measuring devices provided
• Ability to use MC for allocations and inspections
• Ability to understand Spiral Winder machine operation and controls/functions

• Constant standing on hard surface floors
• Lifting up to 50 lbs.
• Walking within work area
• Use required PPE

• Various inspection tools (calipers, tape measure etc…)
• Various hand tools including screwdrivers and wrenches
• Pallet jack
