Plant Operations Technician

• Monday - Friday: 7:00am to 3:30pm (Full Time)
• Alternating Weekends

In this role, you will be responsible for the repair and maintenance of resident units as well as the grounds and common areas of the community.  This is a great opportunity to get your foot in the door and get hands on training with our experienced team. 

• →Follow all established safety procedures and precautions when performing maintenance service.
• →Maintain general plant and community to ensure a safe, clean, and orderly environment.
• →Report all incidents/accidents, hazardous conditions, and defective equipment to your supervisor immediately.
• →Assure that work/assignment areas are clean and equipment, tools, supplies, etc., are properly stored before leaving such areas.
• →Keep your work area(s) free of hazardous conditions, to assure that all established safety rules/regulations are followed at all times.
• →Assure that established Infection Control and Universal Precautions practices are maintained when performing maintenance procedures.
• →Coordinate routine/terminal isolation procedures with Nursing Services.
• →Completion of work orders as assigned on a timely basis.
• →Receive and follow maintenance schedule/instructions from your supervisor and as outlined in our established maintenance policies and procedures.
• →Perform routine maintenance on grounds, parking areas, driveways, etc., by cutting, trimming, sweeping, etc., as necessary/directed.
• →Perform routine maintenance and repair on the facility and equipment to include plumbing, plastering, electrical, carpentry, mechanical, etc., as directed in accordance with established procedures.
• →Replace burned out light bulbs, to include, exit lights, overhead lights, fluorescent lights, room call lights.
• →Service heating and cooling units/systems, as specified by the manufacturer, and in compliance with established policies and procedures.
• →Perform unscheduled maintenance tasks as directed.

• →Perform other duties as assigned.
• →Comply with all policies and procedures and any updates.

Education: High School Diploma/GED

Licenses/Certifications: N/A

Experience: 1+ years of general maintenance experience

Skills & Abilities: Superb mechanical abilities
