Our marketing design team is seeking an intern to create digital ads, social media content, and more, with a focus on promoting teen, young adult, and romance books.

Responsibilities

→Designs trade and consumer advertisements.
→Designs social media marketing content.
→Makes revisions on active design projects.
→Animates digital ads and book covers.
→Downloads assets from DAM for various projects.

Requirements

Candidates must be available to work in our NYC office from Monday – Thursday for a total of 28 hours per week, from June 7 – August 12, 2027. Compensation for this internship is $18 per hour.
Candidates who are available to work in a full-time capacity in 2027 or 2028 are eligible for this internship; open to rising seniors, recent graduates, master’s students, or entry level candidates with up to 1 year of work experience.
Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States.

Ideal candidates are either currently enrolled in or have recently graduated from an undergraduate or master’s program.
A passion for books is highly valued!
Proficient in Adobe Creative Cloud, specifically InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, and After Effects on a Mac.
Social Media proficient (Instagram, Snapchat, Facebook, Twitter, TikTok)
An interest in or a major/minor in design, advertising, or marketing
Applicants should include a link to an online portfolio
Proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite is required.
