Responsibilities
~1 min readSupervises and performs duties involving a variety of technical procedures applying to ionizing radiation. Responsible for the supervision and coordination of activities, personnel and equipment to assure efficient operation within the Radiology Department. Achieves organizational and departmental objectives by providing quality diagnostic services. Works with the Radiologist and other specialty departments to maintain a work flow conducive to the health, wellness and benefit of the patient.**The Coordinator may be required to cover inpatient or outpatient areas to include offsite diagnostic locations.
Requirements
~1 min readEducation: -A high school diploma or GED; Evidence of Radiologic Technology training from United States Military or must be a graduate of a school of Radiologic Technology with a full scope of practice. Associates degree or advanced courses in Management preferred.
Experience: At least two years supervisory experience or equivalent as determined by the Director of Radiology preferred. Must have a working knowledge of budget preparation and control of spending costs.
Licenses/Certificates: Registered with the Americal Registry of Radiological Technology (ARRT); Current BLS certification
