What You’ll Do The cart attendant ensures that all golf carts and related equipment meet facility standards, meet and greet guests at the cart staging or bag drop-off area, and provide excellent customer service.


Day to Day Responsibilities

· Greet and enthusiastically provide each customer with the court conditions, directions, and any other pertinent information

· Open and/or close the cart barn

· Prepare and maintain the golf carts for use, including making sure they are clean, fully charged, operational, and prepped for play with tees, scorecards, and pencils

· Assist in keeping the golf shop cooler filled with product

· Maintain cart staging and cart cleaning areas

· Ensure sand buckets and ice buckets on carts are full

· Clean and restock rental sets after use

· Marshall the golf course during busy times as needed

What We’re Looking For


Must Haves:

· Must have excellent verbal communication skills

· Must have knowledge of the game of golf

· Must have a valid drivers license

· Must display a professional appearance as outlined in the Audubon Handbook

· Must be able to work independently and function as a member of the team

· Must have a high school diploma




Nice-to-Haves:

· Previous experience working at a golf facility

· Previous experience working in a setting that requires strong customer service

· Previous experience working in a retail setting

· Ability to play the game


Physical Requirements:

· Must be able to frequently stand, walk or sit for long periods of time

· Must be able to frequently climb, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl and reach

· Must have close visual acuity in order to operate equipment

· Must be able to work outdoors under conditions ranging from extreme hot to extreme cold

· Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and frequently up to 20 lbs using proper lifting techniques
