As we continue to grow, we are seeking an organised and proactive HR Coordinator who wants to broaden their HR operational experience and contribute to a responsive, employee-focused service. Reporting to the Senior HR Officer, the HR Coordinator will coordinate core HR operational activities and help deliver a responsive, accurate and consistent service to employees and managers. Working closely with the wider HR team in Ireland, the role will support the full employee lifecycle, maintain high-quality HR data, coordinate payroll and benefits inputs, and contribute to HR initiatives and continuous improvement. The successful candidate will combine strong administration with sound judgement, effective stakeholder communication and a proactive approach to resolving day-to-day queries. In return, you will join an experienced HR team in a well-established international organisation, with opportunities to build broad HR operational experience and contribute to service and process improvements.
Responsibilities
~1 min read- Coordinate pre-employment checks, contracts of employment and onboarding activities, ensuring new joiners receive accurate and timely information.
- Coordinate employee changes throughout the lifecycle, including contractual updates, benefit requests, family leave, absence records and other employment documentation.
- Work with the HR team to support employee lifecycle activity in Ireland, the UK, Netherlands, Denmark, and a number of other European countries.
- Coordinate the employee leaver process, ensuring documentation, system updates and offboarding activities are completed accurately and on time.
- Act as a first point of contact for employees and managers, resolving routine HR queries and escalating complex matters appropriately.
- Coordinate HR casework and requests, tracking actions and following through to completion within agreed timelines.
- Partner with other departments to deliver a consistent, efficient and employee-focused service.
- Identify recurring queries, service issues and process gaps, and recommend practical improvements that support a positive and inclusive employee experience.
- Maintain accurate and complete employee data and documentation across HR systems, in line with data protection requirements and internal controls.
- Complete regular data-quality checks, investigate discrepancies and coordinate corrective action with relevant stakeholders.
- Prepare recurring and ad hoc HR reports and employment information for HR and management purposes, including employment references.
What We Offer

- Support the review and improvement of HR procedures, templates and guidance materials.
- Provide cover across the HR Operations team and undertake other duties appropriate to the role.
- At least two years’ experience in an HR administration or coordination role, with practical exposure to employee lifecycle processes.
- Strong organisation and prioritisation skills, with the ability to manage competing deadlines while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
- Confident written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to build effective working relationships with employees, managers and external providers.
- Sound judgement and discretion when handling confidential and sensitive employee information.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience using HR information systems in a paperless environment; capability in Excel and HR reporting is an advantage.
- A proactive, collaborative and service-focused approach, with the confidence to take ownership of issues and follow them through to resolution.
Requirements
~1 min read- A third-level qualification in Human Resources, business administration or a related discipline is preferred; CIPD membership or progress towards a relevant qualification is an advantage.
