MAG is looking to bring in a dynamic, energetic Warehouse Apprentice to join our team. As Warehouse Apprentice one would be responsible for helping Project Manager Electronic Warfare and Cyber (PM EW&C) stand up a new warehouse facility in one of their buildings located at APG, MD.
Responsibilities

- →Learn and operate Army Enterprise Resource Planning Tools.
- →Sort, store, and coordinate the issue of equipment to customers.
- →Coordinate the turn-in of equipment from customers.
- →Perform inspection of items to ensure quantity and items are not damaged.
- →Operate pallet jack, forklift, and other warehouse equipment to move and transport materials.
- →Build and assemble packages for shipment.
- →Follow all safety protocols and regulations.
- →Maintain clean and safe work area.
- →Generate reports.
- →Obtain Hazmat Certification within 18 months.
- →Prepare HAZDECS as required to support materiel shipments.

Requirements

- Must be able to stand for long periods of time; up to 8 hours per day up to 5 days a week.
- Must be able to lift/carry/push/slide up to 75 pounds routinely.
- Secret Clearance
- Bachelors degree
- Vocational training or certification is a plus.
- Experience in warehouse operations including equipment receipt and shipment.
- US Citizenship
- Microsoft Office Skills: Competency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams.
- Must have strong communication skills and the ability to read and interpret plans and instructions.
- Ability to speak, read, and write with proficiency; and comprehend instructions, correspondence, and memos.
- Must possess a valid driver’s license.
- Ability to work independently to address a range of issues while managing time effectively.
- Must possess strong organizational, multi-tasking, and problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a positive attitude.
- Demonstrate flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and schedules.
- The ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret Security Clearance.
- High School diploma or GED equivalent
The position is contingent upon candidate’s ability to meet physical and medical requirements as needed by the position; including compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local jurisdictional requirements.
