Carer Support Worker

We have an opportunity available for a Carer Support Worker to join the Bradford and Airedale Carer Support Service covering Craven, Bradford.

Salary: £13.90 per hour

Hours: 25 weekly

In the role of Carer Support Worker you will need to be passionate about empowering and helping carers with a range of matters on a one to one basis. You must be able to provide your own transport as this role involves traveling across the Craven district.

In this role you will provide values based support, advice and information to service users and carers ensuring they have access to practical and emotional support.

You will also assist carers to develop coping strategies, conduct home visits and carer assessments and provide information about mental health and mental heal services that are available to them.
