We are recruiting for a Bilingual Specialist, Total Rewards to join our team in our Montreal or Toronto office. The successful candidate must have a minimum of 3 years of experience in benefits administration and will be responsible for administering and communicating firm benefit programs and pension plans by efficiently handling inquiries, processing enrollments, leading orientation sessions, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. 

 

The salary range for this role is $65,000 - $75,000 annually. The final offer will be determined based on the candidate’s skills, experience, and job-relevant knowledge. Please note that this range is intended to provide guidance; actual compensation may vary within this range depending on the qualifications and expertise of the selected candidate. This position is to fill an existing vacancy.

 

 

What We Offer

✓Manage in-year and annual enrolments, transfers, and member communications for the DC pension and Group RRSP (Sun Life, Canada Life, National Bank Trust).
✓Track weekly RRSP enrolments to ensure appropriate actions are taken by our Firm members and process Defined Benefit plan settlements and estimates.
✓Support pension-plan regulatory filings across Ontario (FSRA), British Columbia, and Quebec.
  • Optimize benefits-related processes by creating Standard Operating Procedures (SOP).
  • Support broader Total Rewards initiatives and projects.
  • Bachelor's degree in administration or human resources, or other equivalent education relevant to the role.
  • Bilingualism (English and French) both spoken and written is required.
  • Minimum three years of experience in a similar position linked to benefits administration.
  • Proven experience utilizing Workday, especially within the Benefits module.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite software, including Excel at an intermediate level.
  • Excellent time management and planning skills to manage workload fluctuations, and must be able to meet critical deadlines.
  • Great attention to details and proactive to carry out job responsibilities with minimal supervision
  • Works well under pressure within non flexible deadline and adjusts to changing needs of the Firm.
  • Experience in a fast-paced environment
  • Personable, approachable disposition; has strong professional acumen.
  • Able to handle confidential information, exercising tact and discretion in dealing with people and/or sensitive issues.
