HOUSE MANAGER-PATIENT CARE

Provides administrative and clinical oversight on an assigned shift and campus.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES(*Essential Functions)

→Assumes responsibility for patient throughput to include bed placement as it relates to level of care and appropriate staffing.

→Identifies situations and circumstances that may impact risk and liability factors and refers appropriately by following the hospital's policies and procedures.

→Provides operational and administrative support to include patient care, facilities and emergency management.

→Serves as a resource to staff for clinical and regulatory issues.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES
• Thorough knowledge of emergency management protocols, risk identification and regulatory requirements.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills and critical thinking skills.
• Ability to operate medical equipment and administer medications.
• Ability to coordinate workflow with various departments.
• Ability to multi-task.
• Ability to lead and direct the work of others.
• Ability to provide a positive attitude, support the organization and work with team members.
• Must be courteous, kind, compassionate and caring.

EDUCATION

• Bachelors Nursing Required
• 4 Healthcare/Medical - Nurse: Staff Required
• Licensed Registered Nurse
• Certified Cardiac Pulmonary Resuscitation
