LMS Specialist & Education Data Analyst - Flagstaff, AZ

The LMS Specialist & Education Data Analyst administers a learning management system (LMS) while providing leadership in system oversight and data analytics for the Education Department. The role partners with training and development stakeholders to support responsive programs, ensure effective platform administration, and use data to inform educational strategy and continuous improvement. The position is responsible for maintaining learning content, coordinating with vendors to resolve issues and enhance functionality, and developing reports and dashboards using Microsoft Excel and Power BI to analyze educational metrics and program performance.

• Lead the administration, management, and oversight of key learning management systems to ensure reliability, data integrity, and alignment with organizational training goals.
• Serve as a primary point of contact for LMS configuration, maintenance, upgrades, troubleshooting, and vendor coordination.
• Load, configure, test, and maintain learning content and platform functionality.
• Support the annual and ongoing module process in partnership with NAH Leadership to ensure compliance and alignment with organizational needs.
• Create learning documentation, job aids, and training materials for users as needed.

• Lead data analysis efforts within the Education Department to support strategic decision-making and continuous improvement.
• Use advanced Microsoft Excel functions and Power BI to collect, analyze, model, and visualize educational data.
• Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and scorecards that provide actionable insights into participation, completion, compliance, and program effectiveness.
• Evaluate trends, identify gaps, and translate data findings into recommendations for leadership.
• Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and compliance with relevant privacy and reporting standards.

• Oversee the participant experience with the LMS, including course enrollments, course completions, registrations, waitlists, and certifications.
• Provide role-based support and training to colleagues, instructors, and end users across the organization.
• Act as the main point of contact for LMS troubleshooting, reporting, and system support.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify data needs and streamline data collection processes.

• Generate reports on training status and program completions.
• Support compliance and accreditation needs related to education recordkeeping.
• Identify and develop department work instructions based on operational needs.
• Liaise with NAH colleagues and community members to support program logistics and education initiatives.

• Bachelor's degree in Data Analytics, Information Systems, Education, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• Relevant certifications a plus: Microsoft Excel or Power BI certification, LMS platform certification, or a data analytics certificate (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Data Analyst Associate).

• 2–4 years administering a learning management system, including configuration, troubleshooting, and vendor coordination.
• 2+ years of experience in data analysis or reporting, ideally within an education, training, or L&D context.
• Demonstrated experience designing dashboards and reports, not solely consuming them.
