We're looking for Moderators to join our External Quality Assurance team on a flexible worker contract for the following qualification: 

 

 

As a Moderator, you'll play a key role in ensuring that centres assess learners fairly, accurately and consistently. You'll review centre-marked work, apply quality assurance principles, and provide clear, constructive feedback to ensure national standards are maintained. 

 

We’re keen to hear from individuals with a strong background in health and social care, with experience of teaching and/or assessing learners in this subject area. You may currently work, or have previously worked, as a Health and Social Care Teacher, Health and Social Care Lecturer or Health and Social Care Assessor.

 

 

Requirements

  • A relevant qualification at Level 3 or above in health and social care or a closely related subject area 
  • Current or recent occupational experience working within the health and social sector
  • Experience of teaching, assessing, internal quality assuring and/or moderating vocational or academic qualifications 
  • Strong knowledge of assessment and quality assurance processes 
  • Excellent written communication and report-writing skills 
  • Strong organisational and time-management skills, with the ability to work independently and meet deadlines 
  • A commitment to maintaining high standards and delivering a positive experience for centres
