Lead Packer

  • Will train on 1st shift (7:00am - 7:00pm) for the first month of employment

A successful feeder packer will be responsible for preparing materials for processing, feed them into machinery, inspect finished products for quality, and package the products for shipments. This role is fast paced and requires attention to detail and efficiency. 

• →Print Labels, port tickets, WIP tickets, production orders and specification sheets for shift
• →Staffing for packers and line assignments based on standards
• →Manage training for new packers & trainers
• →Coordination of meal and breaks for packers
• →Maintain inventory for production labels, port tickets, WIP labels
• →Ensure line is ready for set up process, by clearing line
• →Manages packers when line goes down and reviews work assignments
• →Ability to multitask and prioritize workload
• →Have forklift experience

• Stable work history; Preferably one year of experience in a manufacturing environment or other physical labor job is strongly preferred
• Commitment to an accident-free and drug-free workplace
• Quality-conscious, oriented to excellence
• Strong work ethic evidenced by enthusiasm, positive attitude, and high energy level
• Well-developed problem-solving skills; creative, out-of-the-box thinker
• Record of dependability & reliability
• Willingness to work overtime as needed
