The Clinic Nursing Assistant is reponsible for the coordination of patient care needs during office visits and assisting the nursing personnel and medical staff as needed.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Knowledge of medical procedures, terminology, and equipment.
Proficient written and verbal skills.
Ability to recognize and assess situations to initiate appropriate help or triage as needed.
Ability to use a computer proficiently.

Responsibilities

→Uses time efficiently, rooms patients on time, anticipates providers' needs and actively works to find additional projects when time is available.
→Take accurate vital signs, performs necessary lab work, and ensures that proper documentation is included in the patient's record prior to providers visit
→Prepares patient room and equipment for procedures, assisting when necessary.
→Assists in updating the medical record with psychosocial, environmental, cultural, demographic, personal, physical, and educational information.
→Documents accurately and timely in the electronic medical record.
