Echo NDE is seeking an experienced Eddy Current Analyst to support upcoming projects. This is an opportunity to apply your technical expertise in ECT data analysis and interpretation while working alongside experienced inspection teams and supporting the delivery of accurate, high-quality results for our clients.

• Hours: Full-time, 40 hours per week
• Location: Fort Saskatchewan, AB - local candidates preferred
• Travel & Work Arrangement: Local candidates preferred; FIFO available for out-of-town candidates, with remote opportunities available for the right candidate

• Review, analyze, and interpret Eddy Current inspection data in accordance with approved procedures, specifications, codes, and client requirements.
• Use Periscope and applicable analysis software to evaluate complex Eddy Current signals and data.
• Identify, characterize, and assess relevant indications and potential defects using applicable acceptance criteria.
• Review data for quality, completeness, and accuracy, identifying any requirements for additional examination or data collection.
• Provide technical support and guidance to Eddy Current Technicians and project personnel regarding data acquisition, inspection requirements, and technical concerns.
• Assist with the development and continuous improvement of ECT techniques, procedures, and analysis processes.

• Prepare clear and accurate inspection reports, data summaries, and technical documentation.
• Document and communicate inspection findings, including the location, type, and significance of relevant indications.
• Work closely with field and project teams to clarify inspection data and resolve technical concerns.
• Maintain accurate records of inspection data, analysis results, and supporting documentation.
• Ensure analysis activities meet company, client, regulatory, and quality requirements.
• Maintain the confidentiality and security of client data and inspection records.
• Adhere to all company and client safety, quality, and environmental policies and procedures.

• CGSB Eddy Current Testing (ET2) certification or equivalent recognized qualification is required.
• Previous experience analyzing and interpreting Eddy Current inspection data in an industrial or NDT environment.
• Strong understanding of Eddy Current Testing principles, techniques, equipment, and data analysis methods.
• Experience with ECT data acquisition and analysis software, including Periscope, is an asset.
• Ability to interpret complex inspection data and make sound technical assessments in accordance with applicable codes, standards, specifications, and acceptance criteria.
• Experience preparing accurate and detailed inspection reports and technical documentation.

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, with the ability to clearly communicate technical findings.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with field technicians, supervisors, and clients.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet project deadlines.
• Willingness to travel and support turnaround and inspection projects throughout Alberta.
• Ability to work extended hours, weekends, and varying schedules based on project requirements.
• Valid Class 5 driver's licence with a clean driving record.
• Fly-In/Fly-Out (FIFO) opportunities available for candidates willing to travel
