Electrical Technician- Cast

• →Maintain safe work environment.
• →Perform electrical and mechanical maintenance of LMFs, VTDs, Caster, Mold Segment Shop, and related equipment.
• →Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues for LMFs, VTDs, Caster, Mold Segment Shop, and related equipment.
• →Identify, design, and implement changes/upgrades which will increase the productivity or reliability of the process.
• →Understand the steel making process and integrate this knowledge to improve productivity, quality, and reliability.
• →Knowledge of medium and low voltage electrical systems, hydraulic and pneumatic systems, breakers and power distribution systems, motors, motor control equipment, instrumentation, PLCs and VFDs.
• →Perform electrical and mechanical tasks requested by crew, supervisor, or management that ensure uninterrupted operations.

Required:

• Safety Oriented
• High School diploma or equivalent
• Basic electrical and mechanical knowledge
• Strong willingness to learn
• Willingness to work scheduled and non-scheduled overtime
• Strong teamwork focus
• Ability to work without direct supervision
• Ability to multi-task & prioritize work assignments with production needs
