Full Complement of Hand Tools
Personal Reliable Vehicle
CSA approved steel toed boots with 6” ankle support

Must be a Journeyperson Heavy Equipment Technician with Red Seal – Off Road or equivalent
Must have between five (5) and ten (10) years' Journeyperson experience
Off Road experience is REQUIRED
Experience with CAT E.T. and S.I.S. and/or Komatsu is REQUIRED
Experience with CAT Scrapers is Beneficial
Ability to read/troubleshoot and diagnose using hydraulic and electronic schematics
Exceptional organization and cleanliness skills are REQUIRED

Drug and alcohol testing which may be swab or urine depending on site requirements
Successful completion of Company Orientation and site-specific orientation

Responsibilities

→Ensure all equipment is continually maintained at the highest standards, and in a timely manner, resulting in proper function and availability.
→Perform preventative, planned and unplanned maintenance, repair, overhaul, troubleshoot and test mechanical and electronic equipment according to company standards.
→Oversee, supervise, and manage the day to day operations of our heavy equipment technicians in the field.
→Dispatching of 10-12 field heavy equipment technicians and welders to ensure schedules and timelines are met.
→Conduct performance and quality checks according to procedure

→ Promote, execute and adhere to the company’s safety program, and encourage all employees, subcontractors and consultants to adopt safety as a culture
