- Weekly and monthly meetings that encourage open communication and collaboration
- Mentoring and support as you grow and advance your career
- Opportunities to use your skills to make a positive impact in your community
- Occasional coffee runs and meals on us
- An always-stocked fridge with drinks and snacks
- A team that understands the importance of having a great life outside the hospital
- Greet clients and patients warmly while helping check-in, check-out, and reception flow run smoothly
- Schedule, reschedule, and confirm appointments by phone, email, online portal, text, and other approved methods
- Welcome new clients and share information about hospital services, policies, and resources
- Answer incoming calls professionally and route medical questions and urgent concerns to the veterinary team
- Monitor and respond to client communications throughout the day
- Create and maintain accurate client and patient records
- Prepare estimates, process invoices, collect payments, and complete other front-desk financial tasks
- Verify prescription and client information before releasing medications

- Keep the reception area clean, organized, and welcoming
- Contribute ideas that improve client service, hospital workflows, and the team experience
- Maintain a positive, team-focused approach, even on busy days
- Previous client service, customer service, or front-desk experience
- Veterinary or medical office experience is a plus
- Strong communication and people skills with a warm, professional phone and in-person presence
- Comfort managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy, especially with scheduling, records, and payments
- A positive, supportive, and team-focused approach
- Confidence to own your responsibilities while knowing when to ask for help
- An eagerness to learn and grow within the veterinary field
- A commitment to teamwork, mutual respect, and exceptional client service
At Gateway Pet Hospital, being part of the team means having a voice. You’ll have regular opportunities to share feedback, contribute ideas, and help us continue improving the experience we provide for our clients, patients, and each other.
You’ll also enjoy a consistent schedule, mentoring and career support, collaborative team meetings, occasional coffee runs and meals, and a stocked fridge for those busy days when a snack makes everything a little better.
If you’re ready to join a veterinary team where your ideas, skills, and contributions matter, we’d love to meet you.
Bring your customer-service experience, organization, communication skills, and team-first attitude. We’ll bring the support, opportunities to grow, and a workplace where your voice is valued.
