Triage patients and obtain thorough medical histories, vital signs, and patient assessments
Assist veterinarians during exams, treatments, and procedures
Provide compassionate, high-quality nursing care to patients from intake through discharge
Prepare and administer medications, vaccines, and treatments as directed
Perform venipuncture, IV catheter placement, fluid therapy, and sample collection
Provide patient monitoring and supportive care, including TPRs, pain scoring, wound care, and more
Assist with anesthesia monitoring, surgical care, and patient recovery
Support emergency and urgent patient care as needed
Perform laboratory procedures and assist with diagnostic testing
Educate and communicate with clients about patient care, medications, discharge instructions, and preventative care
Collaborate with veterinarians and fellow support team members to provide efficient, high-quality patient care
Participate in ongoing training and growth opportunities within the practice

Credentialed Veterinary Technician (CVT/LVT/RVT) preferred
Experienced veterinary assistant and veterinary technician candidates are welcome
Comfort working in a fast-paced clinical environment
Solid technical skills, including venipuncture, IV catheter placement, and laboratory procedures
Experience with anesthesia monitoring
Emergency and surgical care skills, including IV catheter placement, are ideal
Strong communication skills and a professional, compassionate approach
The ability to obtain thorough histories, vital signs, and patient assessments
A collaborative mindset and commitment to teamwork
A desire to continue learning, developing your skills, and growing within veterinary medicine
