Veterinary Assistant

• Four-day work week with four 10-hour shifts
• Just one Saturday per month
• Work exclusively with feline patients

• Safely and effectively handle and restrain feline patients
• Support veterinarians and the medical team during appointments and treatments
• Apply knowledge of preventive care and vaccines
• Obtain diagnostic radiographs
• Perform phlebotomy and collect diagnostic samples
• Run in-house laboratory testing
• Communicate professionally and compassionately with clients and teammates
• Document patient care and client interactions accurately and succinctly
• Assist with front desk responsibilities and other day-to-day hospital needs
• Continue learning and developing skills as part of a collaborative team

• A genuine love for cats and commitment to compassionate feline care
• Previous veterinary experience strongly preferred, but not required
• Comfort with or willingness to learn safe and effective feline handling
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Attention to detail when documenting patient care and client interactions
• A dependable, team-first approach
• Willingness to help wherever needed to keep the hospital running smoothly
• A growth mindset and enthusiasm for learning new veterinary skills
• Compassion and professionalism when working with clients, patients, and coworkers
