• →Run appointments alongside our veterinarians and support efficient patient flow
• →Assist veterinarians and veterinary technicians during examinations, treatments, and procedures
• →Prepare and administer medications as directed by the veterinary team
• →Handle and restrain feline patients confidently and compassionately with an emphasis on reducing stress
• →Provide diligent evening care for boarding patients, including feeding, cleaning, comfort, and observation
• →Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for boarding patients
• →Monitor patients closely and report changes in behavior, health, or condition
• →Perform venipuncture and collect patient samples
• →Obtain high-quality diagnostic radiographic images
• →Operate in-house laboratory equipment and assist with diagnostic testing
• →Provide attentive daily nursing and patient care
• →Maintain clean and organized treatment and patient-care areas
• →Keep laundry and other essential hospital tasks moving throughout the day
• →Communicate clearly and compassionately with clients and fellow team members
• →Follow task-based worklists to ensure responsibilities and communications are completed
• →Maintain accurate and up-to-date client and patient records in the practice management system
• →Protect client confidentiality and follow hospital policies and procedures
• →Collaborate with veterinarians, veterinary technicians, client care specialists, and other team members to maintain an efficient workflow and high standard of care

We’re looking for someone who understands that great feline care requires technical skill, patience, empathy, and occasionally a strategically positioned tube of Churu.

You’ll bring:

• Empathy for clients, coworkers, patients, and yourself
• Previous veterinary experience is a plus, but a willingness to learn is even more important
• A genuine desire to work closely with cats and understand their individual needs

• High attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
