Poland Animal Hospital is seeking a full-time Veterinary Technician to join our recently renovated, full-service small animal hospital in beautiful Poland, Maine.

Responsibilities

→Assist veterinarians during examinations, treatments, and procedures
→Support surgical and dental procedures, including patient preparation, anesthesia monitoring, and recovery
→Perform laboratory sample collection and diagnostic testing
→Obtain patient histories and monitor patient well-being
→Take and process digital radiographs
→Administer medications and treatments as directed
→Maintain accurate medical records and patient documentation
→Educate clients on treatment plans, preventive care, and patient needs
→Assist with hospital workflow and daily operations
→Support the transition to EzyVet and contribute to a positive team environment

Licensed or credentialed Veterinary Technician preferred
Experienced Veterinary Assistants will also be considered
Minimum of 1–2 years of small animal veterinary experience
Strong technical and patient care skills
Excellent communication and client service abilities
Positive attitude and willingness to learn
Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Commitment to delivering exceptional patient care
