ROLE SUMMARY We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a General Transcription Intern. As an intern, you will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in transcribing audio recordings into written text, contributing to various projects across different industries. AREA OF RESPONSIBILITIES* Some of your responsibilities will include: Transcription: Transcribe audio recordings accurately and efficiently into written text. Adhere to transcription guidelines and standards to ensure consistency and quality. Editing & Proofreading: Proofread and edit transcripts for errors, clarity, and formatting. Collaboration: Collaborate with team members to project deadlines and requirements. Communicate effectively with supervisors to clarify instructions and provide progress updates. Confidentiality: Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion. Tools & Software: Learn and utilize transcription software and tools effectively to enhance productivity. *Please note. As your role evolves your responsibilities will change / modify / grow. Requirements WORK EXPERIENCE Fresher EDUCATION Graduation degree or recent graduate in English, Linguistics, Communications, or a related field preferred. Additional degree / certification is a bonus. QUALITIES & CAPABILITIES Communication Skills: Strong communication skills - both written & verbal including grammar, punctuation, and spelling in English. Excellent listening skills and ability to accurately transcribe spoken words. Technical Skills: Proficiency in typing with speed and accuracy. Proficiency in using transcription software and tools is a plus. Attention to Detail: Detail-oriented with a focus on maintaining high-quality standards.
