ROLE SUMMARY As an Operations Manager at our venture builder, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations and ensuring efficient processes across all functions. You will play a critical role in optimizing resources, improving operational effectiveness, and supporting the growth and scalability of our venture builder ecosystem. With your strong background in operations and project management, you will contribute to the overall success of our organization. AREA OF RESPONSIBILITIES* Develop and implement operational strategies, policies, and procedures to optimise efficiency and streamline processes across all functions. Oversee and manage the day-to-day operations of the venture builder, including resource allocation, project management, and performance tracking. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify operational bottlenecks and develop solutions to enhance productivity and effectiveness. Monitor and assess key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure operational performance and identify areas for improvement. Identify and implement technology solutions to automate and streamline operational processes. Manage relationships with external vendors, contractors, and service providers to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of services. Collaborate with the finance team to develop and manage budgets, track expenses, and ensure financial efficiency. Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders, including the Entrepreneur-in-Residence (EIR) team, investment team, and portfolio company founders. Stay up to date with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in operations management and implement relevant improvements. Identify training and development needs for the operations team and facilitate skill-building initiatives. Requirements Years of Relevant Experience 5+ preferred (although outcomes matter more to us) Education & Work experience** - Bachelor's degree in business administration, operations management, or a related field (MBA preferred). Proven experience in operations management, project management, or a related role, preferably within a startup or technology-driven organisation. Knowledge of financial management and budgeting principles. Software and Applications- Adobe Photoshop, MS Office Proficient in using productivity and project management tools. Qualities & Capabilities- Entrepreneurial mindset with a passion for startups and innovation. Strong understanding of operational processes and best practices across various business functions. Excellent project management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet deadlines. Analytical mindset with the ability to identify operational bottlenecks, analyse data, and implement process improvements. Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate and influence cross-functional teams.
