Production Associate

This position is an entry-level, 1st shift position that assists operators engaged in processing materials.

• →Assists operators at the coil loading and packaging ends of the line and as needed.
• →Build pallets and shipping containers using hand and power tools.
• →Band and palletize metal coils and/or metal sheets, placing tags/labels on finished products.
• →Perform quality checks to verify proper lengths, widths, and weights are adhered to using the proper tools.
• →Detects and reports faulty operations or defective materials.
• →Moves or carries parts, equipment, or materials.
• →Read and understand production orders.
• →Wraps and unwraps materials.
• →Housekeeping of work areas.
• →Operates a sit-down forklift.
• →Achieves production goals while complying with all safety requirements.
• →Will be required to perform other duties as requested, directed, or assigned

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Ability to safely operate a forklift. Training and certification provided regardless of previous experience.
• Ability to read documents and interpret facts and draw conclusions.
• Understanding basic math, reading, and writing.
• Good communication, organization, and time management skills.

 

• Required:
  • High School Diploma or GED Equivalent

• Production facility where the ambient temperature may fluctuate, and the noise levels may be increased.
• Flexible to the possibility of overtime and weekend hours when required.
• Days/Hours: Monday through Friday – 7am to 3:30pm
