Carnegie Robotics is seeking a Quality Technician to support our comprehensive, enterprise-wide Quality Management System. This role is ideal for a candidate who thrives in a fast-paced, cross-functional manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities
~1 min read- →Performing sample inspections and measurements of incoming parts
- →Processing non-confirming materials for testing or disposition
- →Performing First Article Inspections (FAIs) of new parts and/or parts from new suppliers
- →Completing internal audits and associated documentation
- →Interpreting engineering prints and schematics
- →Supporting safety and quality initiatives such as 5S, ESD, FOD, and ISO
- →Assisting in the Material Review Board process
- →Maintaining information systems
- →Preparing reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing data; making recommendations
- →Reviewing, analyzing, and reporting on quality discrepancies and Carnegie Robotics quality goals
- A two year technical degree (required)
- Two years experience in a fast paced manufacturing setting
- Experience with precisions instrumentation and complex electromechanical systems
- Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills
- Comfort in a fast-changing, cross-functional team environment
- High standards of accuracy, rigor, and timeliness
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to lift more than 40 pounds
