Our work spans hospitality, multifamily residential, mixed-use, workplace, civic, higher education, and commercial projects of varying scales and complexities, delivered through collaboration, design excellence, and thoughtful leadership. As a Senior Marketing Coordinator, you will partner with the Director of Marketing, firm leadership, architects, interior designers, project managers, and business development teams to shape compelling narratives, strategic pursuits, and communications that elevate the visibility and impact of the firm's work.

As a Senior Marketing Coordinator at CJ+C, you will lead the development and coordination of proposals, qualifications packages, presentations, interviews, and marketing communications across multiple market sectors and studios. You are responsible for helping translate complex project ideas, design narratives, and firm expertise into clear, strategic, and visually compelling materials that support growth and strengthen the firm's market position.

Working closely with the Director of Marketing, design leadership, and firm leadership, you will help support strategic pursuits, strengthen brand consistency, and contribute to how the firm communicates its design vision, expertise, and value across clients, communities, and markets.

With 5–8+ years of experience in the architecture, interior design, engineering, or professional services industry, you bring strong proposal leadership, exceptional organizational skills, and a refined design sensibility. You understand the pace and complexity of a multidisciplinary design environment and are capable of managing multiple pursuits and deadlines simultaneously while maintaining consistency, accuracy, and quality across all deliverables.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the preparation and coordination of RFQs, RFPs, proposals, qualifications packages, and interview presentations across multiple market sectors.
  • Collaborate closely with the Director of Marketing, design leadership, and firm leadership to support strategic pursuits and business development initiatives
  • Develop compelling pursuit narratives tailored to specific clients, project opportunities, and strategic pursuits.
  • Coordinate closely with principals, project teams, consultants, and business development leaders to gather and organize pursuit content.
  • Manage pursuit schedules, deadlines, compliance requirements, and production workflows from kickoff through final submission.
  • Support interview strategy, presentation development, and rehearsal coordination for shortlisted pursuits.
  • Maintain and curate project sheets, resumes, imagery libraries, marketing collateral, and proposal assets.
  • Contribute to award submissions, thought leadership initiatives, social media content, and external communications efforts.
  • Support integrated storytelling that reflects both architectural and interior design perspectives across the firm's work.
  • Collaborate with studio leadership to strengthen positioning across higher education, civic, workplace, hospitality, multifamily, mixed-use, and commercial sectors.
  • Coordinate with photographers, graphic consultants, and external vendors to support brand and marketing initiatives.
  • Assist in maintaining CRM systems, marketing databases, and pursuit tracking tools.
    · Contribute to continuous improvement of marketing workflows, templates, standards, and production processes.
  • Help maintain consistency, clarity, and quality across all outward-facing communications and materials.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, Graphic Design, Architecture, Interior Design, or related field required.
  • 5–8+ years of marketing experience within architecture, interior design, engineering, or related professional services industries.
  • Strong experience leading proposals, interview presentations, and complex pursuit deliverables.
  • Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, particularly InDesign.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, PowerPoint, and presentation development tools required.
  • Experience with CRM and proposal management platforms preferred.
  • Strong graphic, written, verbal, and organizational communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple deadlines and priorities in a fast-paced studio environment.
  • Strong design sensibility and understanding of the architecture and interior design industry.
  • Experience supporting higher education, civic, healthcare, workplace, or mixed-use pursuits preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain quality and consistency across multiple concurrent efforts.
  • Collaborative mindset with the ability to work effectively across interdisciplinary teams and leadership groups
