Inventory Control Coordinator

Salary Range: $22 - $24/hour

The Inventory Control Specialist has the primary responsibility of increasing and maintaining company profitability by sustaining accurate inventory levels; the selected candidate also ensures that optimal inventory is present and ready for use at our Orlando location.

• Inventory Accuracy & Variance Resolution
• Resolve all variance issues from WT exceptions, delivery discrepancies, and “0” pick locations
• Audit receiving and put-away daily for accuracy
• Review and reconcile Carrier and non-Carrier statement aging issues to inventory
• Review cycle count reports and run inventory accuracy reports
• Run the unavailable report (ICRUX) and manage unavailable inventory (timely resolution, accurate reporting, complete monthly 100% audit)
• Report all variances and provide solutions to improve accuracy
• Cycle Counts, Transfers, and Adjustments
• Perform daily and ad-hoc cycle counts
• Maintain the Distribution Center Warehouse Transfer exception report
• Submit inventory adjustment requests to the Operations Manager and assist with stock adjustments as needed
• Safety, PPE, and Training Compliance
• Follow all health, safety, and environmental regulations to maintain a safe working environment
• Use proper PPE and safety tools; report hazards or unsafe conditions to supervisors
• Participate in safety training and adhere to safety protocols

• High school or equivalent (Required); AA/AS degree in Business, Operations or Supply chain logistics preferred.
• 2 Years of Related inventory, warehousing or logistics experience

• Must be proficient using Microsoft products (Word, Excel, Outlook, Power Point) as well as Web and DOS based computer applications.
• Must be able to work in warehouse conditions (mechanical noise, weather, etc.) to perform stock checks.
• Demonstrated ability to quickly adapt to changing conditions and solve problems immediately.
• Must be team-oriented and have good interpersonal communication skills.
• Excellent written and verbal skills.
• Ability to multi-task, prioritize workload and work calmly under pressure.
• Exhibits the ability to work well with others and maintain organization between cross-related departments.
• Must be able to operate a forklift; prior forklift certification preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

• High school or equivalent (Required); AA/AS degree in Business, Operations or Supply chain logistics preferred.
• 2 Years of Related inventory, warehousing or logistics experience
