Staff Accountant

Cleveland Brothers, the largest Cat® dealer in Pennsylvania, northern West Virginia and western Maryland, has an immediate opportunity for a Staff Accountant in Harrisburg, PA.

Cleveland Brothers Equipment Co., Inc. is seeking a Staff Accountant.  This role reports to the Senior Accounting Manager and is responsible for various accounting functions related to treasury operations, financial analysis, general ledger reconciliations, and internal reporting.

• →Create and distribute various bank detail reports daily.
• →Create various bank detail reports and distribute to management.
• →Upload, monitor, investigate various treasury internal controls (positive pay).
• →Complete outgoing wires / ach payments as needed.
• →Process incoming checks via remote deposit.
• →Administer and manage the company credit card payment program.
• →Assist with company P-Card program.
• →Prepare vendor / supplier application forms.
• →Assist with various insurance tasks (insurance certificates, renewals).
• →Review, analyze, and prepare Balance Sheet Reconciliations on monthly basis.
• →Reconciliation of E-Commerce sales.
• →Prepare and review journal entries during month-end close process.
• →Assist with year-end financial audit as required. Compile audit samples as requested by external auditors.
• →Other general accounting duties as assigned.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required
• 3-5 years of related accounting experience preferred
• Experience with treasury management preferred
• Experience with Microsoft D365 preferred
• Ability to multi-task on various projects
• Ability to effectively communicate with all levels of company personnel
• Proficient with MS Office: Word, Excel and PowerPoint
