Senior Manager, Boutique Transformation Excellence

At Chanel, we are focused on creating an inclusive culture that nurtures personal growth, contributing to collective progress. We believe the uniqueness of each individual increases the diversity, complementarity and effectiveness of our teams. We strongly encourage your application, as we value the perspective, experience and potential you could bring to CHANEL.

About the role:

CHANEL is seeking a Senior Manager, Boutique Transformation Excellence to lead and optimize key aspects of boutique network transformation, driving excellence in communications, governance, project management, and policy oversight. This pivotal role is responsible for steering the Fashion Retail Activity Calendar and its supporting governance, ensuring visibility and predictability of retail initiatives while minimizing last-minute disruptions. You will establish best-in-class communications and information flow for Retail Leadership, launch and evolve centralized resources, and partner cross-functionally to implement transformative solutions. Additionally, you will oversee the governance of US Fashion Retail policies and procedures, manage strategic transformation projects under the Boutique Excellence (BX) pillar, and ensure seamless alignment between corporate and boutique teams to elevate Retail ways of working across the organization.

  • Drive the Fashion Retail Activity Calendar governance, managing intake, review, approvals, publishing, through a consistent operating rhythm.
  • Maintain calendar usability standards for Retail, including accessible views, live and print-friendly options, color coding, and visibility of peak/protected time.
  • Partner with key stakeholders to finalize dates and publish on a predictable cadence, keeping the calendar “live” for controlled minor changes.

  • Partner with Chanel Tech and Fashion Tech to design and implement an automated communications solution for Fashion Retail Leadership teams.
  • In the interim, launch and manage a weekly digest and centralized hub that serve as the single source of truth for Fashion Leadership communications, coordinating cross-functional input and owning end-to-end editorial execution, including content sourcing, drafting, editing, scheduling, archiving, and continuous improvement.

  • Support project management for retail transformation initiatives across Boutique Excellence, Tech, P&O and more, ensuring synergy between BX’s Performance, Transformation and Operations teams.
  • Working across cross-functional teams and managing stakeholders in both corporate and retail environments, with the ability to influence without direct authority
  • Creating and delivering communications that empower teams, cut through noise, and support operational excellence
  • Bringing structure and clarity to complex processes so information flows smoothly and consistently
  • Building strong cross-functional relationships to develop aligned, high-impact communications
  • Turning feedback and insights into practical improvements that meaningfully support boutique teams
  • Leading change by championing new tools, processes, and ways of working that enhance the Retail experience

  • Own governance for all US retail policies and procedures, ensuring clarity, relevance, and compliance.
  • Maintain, review, and update existing policies; lead development of new ones in partnership with cross-functional teams.
  • Manage the SharePoint site for policy documentation, keeping content organized, current, and accessible.
  • Communicate updates and provide guidance to retail teams, ensuring consistent understanding and application.
