Adjunct Instructor- Game Art Production 3D

The Columbus College of Art & Design (CCAD) is seeking a Part Time Adjunct Instructor for our Game Department to teach Game Art Production 3D. This course develops professional-level skills in creating game-ready 3D assets, focusing on industry-standard pipelines and workflows. Students will create a heroic prop from concept to final implementation, learning critical techniques in modeling, UV mapping, texturing, and optimization for game engines. The course emphasizes documentation and portfolio development through professional game development platforms.

Desired candidates with a background in art and technology will be considered for this role. They will have moderate experience with several 3D art programs and demonstrate capabilities using technology tools to facilitate and teach sculpting. This course is scheduled for in person sessions Tuesdays and Thursdays, 12:30 - 3:15 PM (EST). The position will begin January 2027.

A BFA/MFA in art or design with a focus on 3D Art, game design, or technology will be considered.

Experience teaching at the college level is desired, but not required.
