What You’ll Be Doing:
During your Year in Industry, you’ll be:
Supporting manufacturing and production teams on live projects
Analyse processes and identity improvement opportunities
Assist with quality, safety or efficiency initiatives
Collaborate with teams across the site
Present your work at the end of the programme
This is a hands-on role – you’ll be out on the shop floor, not just behind a desk.
What we are looking for
You’ll be:
Studying a degree in Manufacturing, Mechanical, Electrical, Food Science, or a related discipline.
In your penultimate or final year of study.
Curious about how things are made and passionate about operations.
Comfortable in a fast-paced, practical environment.
A strong communicator who thrives in a team setting.
No previous industrial experience required – just enthusiasm and a willingness to learn
Programme Details:
Start date: August 2027
Duration- 12 months
Locations- Wakefield, Sidcup, Edmonton, East Kilbride
Assessment Centre- December 2026, January 2027 (at site, location tbc)
