Tradition Hospital features a state-of-the-art Cardiac Catheterization (Cath) Lab. The lab specializes in minimally invasive, nonsurgical procedures to diagnose and treat cardiovascular diseases, performing interventions like balloon angioplasty, stenting and imaging through small catheter insertions. By joining the Cath Lab as an Assistant Nurse Manager, you will encourage caregivers to enhance their skills and the patient experience through improvement initiatives and incentives. You will also interact with the patient before, during and shortly after the procedure to help put their mind at ease. 30% of your day will consist of administrative tasks such as staff scheduling, Kronos, providing education and training and coordinating with providers, while the other 70% will consist of hands-on patient care. This position requires a caregiver who is empathetic, understanding and nurturing to ensure quality patient care. Responsibilities

→Requires full range of motion, manual and finger dexterity and eye-hand coordination.
→Requires standing and walking for extensive periods of time.
→Requires corrected hearing and vision to normal range.
→Requires some exposure to communicable disease or bodily fluids.
→Medium Work - Exerting 20 to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 10 to 25 pounds of force frequently, and/or greater than negligible up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects.
→Physical Demand requirements are in excess of those for Light Work.

Follows standard precautions using personal protective equipment as required.
