Join Cleveland Clinic South Pointe Hospital and experience healthcare at its best. This facility is a proud Magnet Hospital awarded by the American Nurses Credentialing Center, the highest honor an organization can receive for professional nursing practice. Here, you will provide stellar patient care, work with state-of-the-art technology and build a rewarding career with one of the most respected healthcare organizations in the world.

The 41-bed unit at Cleveland Clinic South Pointe Hospital is divided into two specialized areas that operate together as one cohesive unit: a 19-bed Medical-Surgical (MS) unit and a 22-bed Observation (Obs) unit. The MS unit provides caregivers with broad nursing experience by caring for patients with conditions such as pneumonia, congestive heart failure, infectious diseases, asthma, and COPD exacerbations, helping nurses build well-rounded clinical skills and knowledge. The Observation Unit offers a fast-paced environment focused on safe, high-quality patient care for adults requiring expedited evaluation and close monitoring for less than 24 hours. Serving a mix of ER and inpatient populations, the Observation unit requires nurses to be highly adaptable with strong assessment skills, as patient conditions can change rapidly. Together, the combined unit provides diverse learning opportunities, high patient interaction, and strong professional development for nursing caregivers.

As Health Unit Coordinator (HUC), you will offer unparalleled customer service to patients, families and visitors to enhance the Cleveland Clinic experience. Using your administrative and clerical skills, you will ensure an efficient operational flow of the department, allowing your fellow caregivers to continue providing optimal patient care.
