Radiology Technologists use x-ray equipment to obtain images of the body interpreted by a Radiologist and are responsible for preparing patients for the exam, moving and instructing the patient into the proper position, correctly operating the equipment and obtaining a high-quality image while minimizing radiation dose to the patient.

This role offers the ability to move into other imaging modalities such as CT, MRI or IR. Through advancing your skills each day, you may also follow down the path to becoming a lead or supervisor in general x-ray.

Requirements

Requires standing and walking for extended periods of time.
Must be able to lift or assist with lifting patients of varying weight and manipulate equipment daily.

Follows standard precautions using personal protective equipment as required.
