Finishing Operator

CCL Label Healthcare & Specialty Buffalo is looking for a mechanically inclined and motivated individual to join our team as a Finishing Operator.  This opportunity is the perfect introduction to a career in printing!  This individual will learn the importance of quality orientation by ensuring finished product meets customer expectations.  The ideal candidate will have mechanical skills, attention to detail, and willingness to learn. 

The Finishing Operator plays a vital role in ensuring the quality and timely completion of products.  In this role, you will be responsible for operating various machines and inspecting material to ensure the finished product is free from nonconformances.

• →Operate Finishing department machines; Rotoflex VSI, Rotoflex VLI, and Draytek
• →Inspect and rewind labels to guarantee product meets customer specifications
• →Meet or exceed Finishing department attainment goals
• →Pack finished products according to customer orders
• →Maintain equipment in good working order
• →Maintain housekeeping and safety standards
• →Adhere to all Standard Work Documents and Current Good Manufacturing Practices

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to function well in a fast-paced team environment.
• Good organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Mechanical skillset.

High school diploma or equivalent.

Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at times.

Salary range: $17.00-18.00/hour, actual compensation will be based on experience.
