Associate Professor/Professor of Nursing (Grant Funded)

Grant funded through September 30, 2028 (position is contingent upon renewed grant funding by the terms outlined by contract through September 30, 2031)

Associate Professor - salary range $58,936.23 - $69,066.51

Education: Possession of current or active RN licensure and a master’s degree from a regionally accredited college or university with major study in Nursing.

Experience: Six (6) years of teaching experience in nursing, or six (6) years of business or industry experience as a registered nurse, nurse practitioner, or other position directly related to the field of Nursing.

SPECIAL QUALIFICATIONS: Must have experience in medical/surgical.

License/Certifications: Must meet the continuing education requirements by the Board of Nursing to maintain continuing licensure. Access to transportation.

RECOMMENDED WORK TRAITS: Thorough knowledge of teaching methods, use of instructional materials and the organization of subject matter into effective teaching units in technology or other specialized programs. Complete knowledge of the principles, methods, techniques and equipment in subjects being taught. Ability to evaluate student progress and provide guidance to both students and instructors. Ability to supervise professional instructional staff and collaborate in development of programs, policies and procedures. Ability to work effectively with businesses and community organizations. Ability to originate and implement new programs and to improve existing programs. Must be willing to maintain appearance appropriate to assigned duties and responsibilities as determined by the agency appointing authority
