DESCRIPTION

This role will be responsible for all shipping, receiving, and assembling various product lines on the shop floor.


QUALIFICATION/REQUIREMENTS/EDUCATION

  • Must have enhanced critical thinking skills.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Candidate should have some mechanical abilities/capabilities.
  • Previous experience and training for loader and forklift operation is preferred.
  • Must always operate all Opla equipment in a safe and professional manner.
  • Must have the ability to work proficiently within systems to record and update information as needed.
  • Intermediate knowledge of MS Office (word documents, spreadsheets and daily communication).
  • Must be able to work in a team.
  • Must be able to work in a fast-paced and highly energetic environment.
  • Candidates must always conduct themselves in a friendly and professional manner.
  • Candidates must have the commitment to adhere to Opla’s Core Values.
  • Must be able to lift up to 50lbs.

 

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (include the following, however, other duties may apply)

  • Responsible for the loading and unloading of trucks in a safe and efficient manner.
  • Responsible for shipping, receiving and organizing all materials and rig equipment with proper documentation.
  • Assemble and disassemble tools/equipment from Opla’s product line.
  • Required to continually maintain a clean and organized facility, including its components and equipment.
  • Follow all Opla policies and procedures, completing the required safety training provided and working safely is of paramount importance.
  • Responsible for conducting and documenting the shop health and safety meetings, and work permits as required.
  • Coordinate/manage all annual inspections such as city fire inspection, fire extinguisher and emergency lighting with safety and purchasing.
  • On-call as required.
