The Payroll & Grants Specialist is responsible for the administration of Central Ozarks Medical Center grants including accounting, reporting, and financial compliance with local, state, and Federal regulatory agencies. The Payroll & Grants Manager processes and coordinates the functions of payroll distribution, accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and general computer/data processing related to grants.

 

QUALIFICATIONS

  • An undergraduate degree in finance, accounting, or related field. An advanced degree would be viewed positively.
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in finance or accounting with advanced knowledge of federal grant reporting.
  • Extensive knowledge of accounting and office software packages is required.
  • Must have good people skills with ability to relate to diverse groups of people and people on all levels.
  • Ability to travel and provide own transportation and have valid Missouri driver's license.
  • Excellent listening, oral and written skills; Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
  • Must be able to type with speed and accuracy.

 

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Grants Administration: budgeting, accounts receivable, accounts payable, general ledger, and financial audits.
  • Payroll Administration: payroll allocations.
  • Compliance: grant financial reports, purchasing, HRSA site visit (grant lead).
  • All other duties as requested by the CFO.
