Freight Officer

Centurion is seeking an experienced and motivated Forklift operator to join our on growing team at our Townsville depot. Your duties will include loading and unloading trucks, RF scanning, stock movements, and supporting day-to-day yard operations. You will play a key role in ensuring goods are received and dispatched accurately while maintaining a clean, organised, and safe work environment.

The ideal candidate will bring reliable and dedicated transport yard experience, a current forklift licence, and the ability to maximise trailer utilisation. You will be committed, safety-focused, and with the ability to work well both independently and as part of a team.

• Operating a Forklift Counterbalance (2.5T, 5T, 16T)

• Experienced in:

  • Loading, unloading and moving freight throughout the yard.

  • Handling general, ugly, palletised and oversize freight

  • Load restraint utilising straps and chains to secure freight

  • Working with RF scanners to ensure accuracy and compliance; however…
