Responsibilities

  • →Perform routine and advanced wet chemistry laboratory testing and analysis
  • →Prepare, process, and analyze crude and related sample in accordance with established procedures
  • →Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot analytical instrumentation
  • →Accurately document test results, observations, and analytical data
  • →Prepare technical reports and communicate findings to internal stakeholders
  • →Maintain laboratory equipment, supplies, and work areas in compliance with safety and quality standards
  • →Follow laboratory safety protocols and standard operating procedures
  • →Collaborate with team members to support research, testing, and quality assurance initiatives
  • →Utilize Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook for data management, reporting, presentations and communication

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED with a minimum five years of experience working in a lab environment, OR, an Associate’s Degree in a related field of study (e.g. lab technician programs, college coursework in science, technology, engineering, or mathematics) with a minimum of two years of experience OR a Bachelor's Degree
  • Work experience in a lab environment
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
  • General chemistry laboratory experience
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently and as a part of a team
  • Immigration sponsorship not available for this role.

  • Experience handling and testing oil samples
  • Previous Production Chemistry / Oil and Gas Laboratory Setting experience
  • Hands on experience with Gas Chromatography (GC)
  • Experience with CHNS Elemental Analysis
  • Experience using Differential Scanning Calorimetry (DSC)
  • Role is deemed safety-sensitive and may be subject to employer or customer drug testing.
