Banquet & Event Setup and Support starting $18/hr - Premiere Private Club

Description

• →Prepare for banquet events by setting up and taking down tables, chairs, linens, and other event equipment.
• →Set up banquet rooms for weddings, meetings, parties, and other events.
• →Ensure banquet rooms are arranged according to guest expectations and the Cherokee Standard.
• →Serve or assist in serving food items as needed.
• →Clean and organize banquet rooms, hallways, storage areas, and service areas.
• →Inventory and care for banquet supplies.
• →Refresh rooms and maintain cleanliness between events.
• →Clean event spaces and banquet supplies.
• →Perform other duties as assigned by the Banquets Manager and staff.

Requirements

• A friendly, welcoming, and professional personality.
• Strong attention to detail and an approachable, hospitable attitude.
• Previous Houseman experience, specifically in a private club or similar environment.
• Basic understanding of event setup.
• Strong verbal communication skills.
• Ability to remain focused while staying on your feet and moving throughout your shift.
• Ability to bend, climb stairs, and safely lift and carry items weighing up to 40 pounds.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• ServSafe certification is preferred.
