Dental Assistant

As a Dental Assistant you will work to enhance the daily operations of the clinic by providing excellent care and communication to our patients. As a Dental Assistant you will:

• →Prepares, sterilizes, disinfects, and maintains dental equipment, instruments, and supplies
• →Collects and records patient health histories and x-rays
• →Ensures patient comfort during dental procedures
• →Completes charting of treatment information in the patients' dental notes from the doctor as directed
• →Assist doctor in management of medical and dental emergencies
• →Delivers postoperative and general oral care instructions to patient
• →Maintains infection control procedures, patient privacy, and professional interactions with patients and staff
• →Assist administrative team with customer service functions

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Minimum of one year of dental assisting experience required
• Completion of an accredited Dental Assisting Program or dental assistant experience preferred but not required
• Previous customer service or office experience
• Proficiency or the ability to become proficient within 90 days in dental terminology and dental software for charting, treatment planning, clinical notes, etc.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Foster a positive attitude and be a team player

Patient Care Hours:

Monday 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
Tuesday 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
Wednesday 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
Thursday 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
