Catawba Island Club (CIC) is looking to add great people to our Housekeeping/Facilities team. We are a private, resort-style club that has been family owned and operated for over 50-years. Our location, directly on the beautiful Lake Erie shore, attracts families from across the mid-west. At CIC employees have the opportunity earn a competitive wage in a meaningful work environment.

If you like working on your feet in a relaxed but challenging environment this position may be right for you. Teamwork, communication, and hard work are the keys to success to ensure the comfort and needs of our members and guests with particular attention to hotel guests rooms. Our teams also pay strong attention to the dining room, outside venues and restroom cleanliness in the clubhouse and outdoors.

Clean, dust, polish, and vacuum to make sure guest rooms and bathrooms meet hotel standards.
Change linens, make beds and leave the bathroom sparkling.
Restock all guest room supplies, like soap and shampoo.
Organize your linen closet, restock your cart, and get ready for the next day before your shift ends each day
Greet guests that you encounter during your shift with a friendly smile.
Ensure that all banquet and meeting spaces are clean and ready.

To be successful in this role, you need basic English communication skills. This job requires continuous movement, regularly bending, lifting, pushing, pulling, carrying, and moving up to 25-30 pounds. You will also lift or move up to 50 pounds occasionally. You must also be able to stand and walk for an entire shift and perform repetitive motions.
