General Ledger Accountant - Argentina (USA Time Zone)

We are seeking an experienced General Ledger Accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have solid hands-on experience in general ledger accounting, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment. This role will work closely with the U.S.-based team, so excellent communication skills and the ability to work U.S. Eastern Time (ET) hours are essential.

Prior experience working with U.S. companies or clients is highly preferred.

• →Perform day-to-day general ledger accounting activities, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
• →Prepare and post journal entries, including accruals, adjustments, and reclassifications.
• →Perform balance sheet and account reconciliations and investigate discrepancies.
• →Support month-end and year-end closing activities.
• →Review financial information and identify errors, inconsistencies, or unusual transactions.
• →Work closely with internal teams and U.S.-based stakeholders to resolve accounting issues.
• →Maintain accurate and well-organized accounting records and supporting documentation.
• →Ensure accounting activities are performed in accordance with internal policies and applicable accounting principles.
• →Assist with financial reporting and other accounting-related tasks as required.
• →Identify process improvements and contribute to making accounting processes more efficient.
• →Handle ad-hoc accounting requests and support the team with additional GL-related activities as needed.

• 4–10 years of professional experience in general ledger accounting or general accounting.
• Strong understanding of general accounting principles and GL processes.
• Hands-on experience with journal entries, account reconciliations, and month-end close.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to investigate and resolve discrepancies.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently, take ownership of assigned responsibilities, and manage multiple priorities.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
• Availability to work U.S. Eastern Time (ET) hours.
