BARTENDER

1. →Report to work as scheduled, on time, well-groomed and dressed in proper uniform.
2. →Mix cocktails, serve and pour wine, bottled beer and draft beer according to Reata’s protocol.
3. →Perform Reata’s 10 Step to Server Excellence to each bar, lounge and cocktail guest.
4. →Perform all bar opening and closing duties.
5. →Slices fruit garnishes at a prescribed par level each day for all bars.
6. →Maintain an accurate cash drawer throughout the night, and be able to account for all and any discrepancies in the final drawer.
7. →Assist in seating guests, clearing, cleaning and resetting bar or tables for next guest
8. →Monitor and maintain the cleanliness of the bar area per the health department’s requirements.
9. →Handle customer complaints in a calm, courteous manner.   Inform supervisors of any customer complaints or suggestions.
10. →Practice teamwork by assisting other employees whenever needed.
11. →Perform any extended duties as assigned by a manager.
12. →Protect Reata Restaurant from liability under Dram Shop Rule by practicing responsible alcohol service measures at all times.
13. →Understand and enforce local Alcohol and Beverage Commission laws and regulations.

Must be 18 years old.

Must have an optimistic and assertive attitude.  

Thrives in a fast paced environment.  

Excellent verbal communication skills and interpersonal skills.

Ability to lift and carry 35lbs as needed.  

Continuous use of hand and arms.  

Continuous standing, walking, climbing, reaching and twisting.
